Reckoner
Reckoner - terms of service
Effective 16 October 2026 · Wersja polska
These terms are the agreement between you and the provider of Reckoner named in section 1
(“we”, “us”) for the game, its servers and the website reckonermobile.com
(together, the “Service”). The game shows you these terms and asks you to accept them
before it creates your account; playing means you have accepted them. If you do not agree, do not
play. Our privacy policy explains what data the game stores and is part of
these terms. The terms are also available in Polish; for consumers living
in Poland, the Polish version is the basis of interpretation.
1. Who we are
Reckoner is developed and operated by Wojciech Włodarczyk, Jaśminowa 4B, 98-100 Łask, Poland (NIP 8311643425), who is also the data
controller described in the privacy policy. Contact for questions, complaints and legal notices:
support@reckonermobile.com. We answer in English
and in Polish. This address is also our single point of contact for players and for public
authorities under the EU Digital Services Act.
2. Who can play and what you need
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live,
a parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf and is responsible for
any purchases made on your account.
- Reckoner runs on Android 7.0 or newer and on iOS 15 or newer. It needs an internet
connection: your account, characters and hunts are stored on our servers, and the game cannot
run without them for long.
- Balance, content, prices and features change between updates, and test worlds may be
reset. The game updates itself when it starts.
3. Your account
- One account holds all your characters. An account without an e-mail address is anonymous
and tied to the device it was created on; adding an e-mail and password lets you recover it
and play on other devices. An account without an e-mail address is deleted automatically, with
everything on it - Gems and Premium included - after 365 days in which none of your devices
signed in to it; add an e-mail to keep it.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and your device safe and for everything
that happens on your account. Tell us at once if you believe someone else is using it.
- Accounts are personal. Do not sell, buy, rent, give away or share accounts, and do not use
several accounts to get rewards meant for one player (for example referral bonuses, inbox
gifts or gift codes).
- You can delete your account at any time in the game (Settings → Account →
Delete account) or at reckonermobile.com/delete-account.
Deletion is immediate and irreversible and removes all characters, progress and virtual
items; copies in our backups disappear within 14 days. Some records are kept after deletion -
records of store purchases, bug reports, moderation cases and referral links - as the privacy
policy explains.
4. Gems, Premium and other virtual items
- Gems, Premium time, gold, items, outfits and every other in-game good (“virtual
items”) are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use those
features inside the game while your account exists. They are not property, have no value
outside the game and cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the game.
- What money buys. Gems and Premium are bought in the Apple App Store or
Google Play; Premium can also be bought with Gems in the game. Character slots,
extra depot tabs and depot slots, friend and guild member slots, name changes and outfits are
bought with Gems.
Some Gem packs add bonus Gems to the first purchase of that pack on an account; the game shows
the bonus before you buy. Payment, taxes, receipts and refunds are handled by the store
under its own terms; we do not see or store your payment details. Prices may change at any
time; a change never affects what you already bought.
- Premium is a one-off period of 30 or 90 days. It is not a subscription
and does not renew by itself. It comes in two kinds:
- Character Premium covers one chosen character. The period starts when
Premium is applied to the character: at once when you buy it with Gems, and when the game
applies a store voucher (30 or 90 days) to the character you choose (normally right after
the purchase).
- Account Premium covers the whole account. It starts at once, whether
bought with Gems or in the store: its days are added to the account and, separately, to
every character on it. A character created while it runs has Premium until the account's
period ends.
If a character already has Premium, the new days are added after its current period ends. The
period runs on the calendar and is not paused for any reason - not by an expedition, by closing
the app, nor by a suspension of the account.
- Free Premium trial. Once per account, the first character that reaches
level 15 receives 3 days of Character Premium for free. It cannot be exchanged for anything
else.
- Gems are consumed when you spend them. Spent Gems and used Premium time
are not refundable.
- If a store refunds or reverses a purchase, what it granted is taken back from the account.
An unused voucher is removed; Premium time it granted that has not yet run is cut short; for
Account Premium, the account and each of its characters lose the refunded days that have not
yet run. Premium time already used is not returned. Refunded Gems, including any bonus Gems the
purchase gave, are deducted from the balance even if it drops below zero. If it does, Premium bought with those Gems that has not yet run is taken
back and the Gem price of the days taken back is credited to the balance; a balance that is
still negative is settled by the next Gems you earn or buy. Other things bought with refunded
Gems - outfits, slots, depot tabs and name changes - are reviewed by hand.
- Gems ladder. The ladder is off for your account until you turn it on in
Settings → Game (“Show me on the Gems ladder”); you can turn it off at any time.
While it is on, each calendar month (UTC) the game ranks your account by the Gems it spent,
counting every 30 days of Premium bought in the store as 1,000 Gems (Character Premium) or
1,500 Gems (Account Premium); refunded purchases do not count, and a refund after a month has
closed does not change that month's results. The ladder is public: anyone can see your
character's name and the Gems spent. The top 20 of a month wear a cosmetic crown and portrait
frame for the whole next month, and the top three also wear the Midas outfit for that month.
An account that is not on the ladder is not ranked and gets no reward.
- Gift codes. We sometimes give out codes for free - for example at events,
through content creators or as compensation. A code is entered in Settings and can add Gems and,
for some codes, a temporary boost of up to 25% to experience, gold and item drops that lasts
until your character reaches a level stated with the code. Each account can use a given code
once. Codes are never sold, have no cash value and cannot be exchanged; buying or selling them
breaks section 5.
- Reckoner never sells power, safety or content: everything that affects the outcome of a
hunt can be earned in the game for free. Paid items buy time, convenience, cosmetics and
account capacity only.
- Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law. Your right of
withdrawal is described in section 11.
5. Rules of play
Reckoner is a shared world. While playing you must not:
- use bots, scripts, macros, modified clients, automation or any tool that plays for you or
talks to our servers other than through the official app;
- exploit bugs, glitches or unintended mechanics to gain an advantage. If you find one,
report it in the game (Settings → Bugs & suggestions) - confirmed reports may be
rewarded with Gems;
- sell, buy or trade accounts, characters, gold, items or any virtual item for real money
or anything of value outside the game;
- run several accounts to farm rewards meant for one player, or to manipulate rankings,
guild wars, the market or gift systems;
- post unlawful content, or use offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening or misleading names,
guild names, chat messages or private messages, or impersonate other players, guilds or the
provider;
- use private messages or World Chat to ask other players for passwords or codes, to move
them to outside services, to threaten them or to sell anything for real money - the game blocks
typical messages of this kind (in World Chat also any link), and any of them can be
reported;
- harass, bully or deliberately disrupt other players;
- attack, overload or probe the game, its servers or its protocol, interfere with other
players' connections, or reverse-engineer them beyond what the law expressly allows.
6. Moderation and suspension
- Other players can report names, guilds, chat messages and private messages from inside
the game. A report about a player you share a private conversation with can include a copy of
it: the current conversation if the reporting player attaches it, and the copy we keep for
30 days after a conversation ends. We review
reports and may warn you, rename a character, remove content, take back items or currency
obtained by breaking these rules, or suspend the account - for a fixed time
or permanently - depending on how serious the case is. Whenever we restrict your account or
remove your content, we tell you what was affected, why, and how to appeal.
- Some checks are automatic: the game refuses names and guild names that break the rules when
you choose them, refuses private messages that look like attempts to steal accounts or to trade
for real money, refuses links in World Chat, and the server refuses game results its rules do
not allow.
- A chat filter checks every message written in World Chat, guild chat, guild
announcements, private messages and Descent party chat for content about the sexual abuse or
exploitation of children, terrorism, real-world violence and threats, extreme hate and
self-harm. A message that clearly falls into one of these is not sent; a message that only might
is sent as usual. In both cases that one message, the character who wrote it and the chat it was
written in go to our moderation queue, where a person reads it - the filter does not copy the
rest of the conversation.
- World Chat - the chat open to all players - has one automatic restriction:
when players on several different accounts report your messages there within a short time, your
account is muted in World Chat for a short time and your recent messages there are hidden. You
can still read World Chat and play as usual. The game shows you the reason, when the mute ends
and where to appeal. A moderator then looks at the case and may lift the mute, keep it or make
it longer; a moderator can also mute an account in World Chat after reviewing reports.
- Apart from the World Chat mute described above, every warning, rename, removal and
suspension is decided by a person who has looked at the case.
- If a message suggests that a child is in danger or that someone's life or safety is at
risk, we may pass the message and the account details we hold to the police or other competent
authorities.
- A suspension applies to the whole account and every character on it.
While suspended you cannot log in; the game shows you the end date (if any) and the reason.
- A suspension does not delete anything. Your characters, items, Gems and
Premium stay on the account. Premium time keeps running during a suspension and is not extended,
paused or refunded, and Gems that were already spent are not returned.
- Repeated or serious violations, and any real-money trading or attack on the service, may
lead to permanent suspension or deletion of the account.
- If you believe a suspension, removal or World Chat mute is a mistake, write to
support@reckonermobile.com - from the
account's e-mail address if it has one; for an anonymous account, give the character's name
and the date of the suspension. The suspension screen shows this address. We answer within
14 days. If we agree, we lift the suspension and add the Premium time lost during it back to
the account and its characters.
7. Player content
Names, guild names, chat messages, private messages, answers to in-game polls and reports you
write are yours, but by posting them in the game you allow us to store, show and moderate them as
part of the Service. Names and World Chat messages are visible to other players and guild chat
to your guild; World Chat keeps only its most recent messages. A private message is visible only
to the friend you sent it to. We open a private conversation only when one of you reports it, and
we see a single private message when the chat filter flags it (section 6). Poll answers are read
only by us. Your e-mail is never visible to other players.
We can remove content that breaks these terms or the law; you are told what was removed and why,
and you can appeal as described in section 6.
Reporting illegal content. Anyone, including people who do not play, can tell
us about content in Reckoner they believe is illegal by writing to
support@reckonermobile.com: say where it is (for
example the character or guild name), what it is and why you believe it is illegal, give your
name and e-mail address (not needed when reporting child sexual abuse material) and confirm that
you believe in good faith that the report is accurate and complete. We confirm that we received
the report, decide on it without undue delay and tell you what we decided.
8. Changes to the game and to the Service
- We may change the game - rebalance it, add or remove content and features, and change its
rules and the Gem prices of items - when there is a reason for it: to keep the game balanced
and fair, to add content, to fix errors and stop abuse, for security, or because the law or app
store rules require it. Balance changes are part of playing a live game and do not by
themselves entitle anyone to compensation.
- If a change takes away a Premium benefit during a period you have already paid for, we tell
you in the game (and by e-mail, if your account has one) before it applies, and you can end the
agreement within 30 days of the change by deleting your account or writing to
support@reckonermobile.com; we then refund,
directly or through the store, the part of the price you paid for the Premium time you could no
longer use. Rights that the law of your country gives you over changes to the game stay
unaffected.
- We try to keep the servers running, but the Service is provided “as is” and we
do not promise it will be available without interruption or error. Expeditions settle when the
connection returns.
- If we ever stop operating Reckoner, we will announce it in the game and on this website at
least 30 days in advance. Virtual items expire with the Service; the part of the price you paid
for Premium time and Gems that you could no longer use is refunded, directly or through the
store you bought them from, where the law requires it.
9. Intellectual property
Reckoner, its name, artwork, characters, monsters, text, code and design belong to the
provider. You may play the game and share screenshots and videos of it, including on monetised
channels, as long as you do not claim the game as your own or distribute its files, artwork or
code separately.
10. Liability
We are liable for the Service under the general rules of law. We are not liable for loss of
game progress, virtual items or data caused by your device, your connection, your own loss of
access to the account or your breaking these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes liability
that cannot be excluded by law, limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or limits our
liability for the conformity of digital content or services you paid for.
11. Complaints, withdrawal and ending the agreement
- Complaints about the Service, a purchase or a moderation decision go to
support@reckonermobile.com. We answer within
14 days of receiving them.
- Withdrawal. As a consumer you may withdraw from this agreement within
14 days of creating your account, without giving a reason: delete the account or write to
support@reckonermobile.com. Purchases in the
app stores follow the store's own withdrawal and refund rules; where the law gives you a right
of withdrawal from a purchase, these terms do not limit it. You may use this model form, but you
do not have to: “To Wojciech Włodarczyk, Jaśminowa 4B, 98-100 Łask, Poland (NIP 8311643425), support@reckonermobile.com: I hereby
give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service: a
Reckoner game account (character name: ...), created on (date). Name and address of the
consumer. Date.”
- You end the agreement by deleting your account. We may end it by suspending or deleting an
account that breaks these terms, as described in section 6, or by discontinuing the Service as
described in section 8.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for a valid reason: a change in the law or in app store rules, a
new or changed feature of the game, a security or abuse problem, or a correction. The new version
is published at this address with its effective date, and the game asks you to accept it when you
next start it - the game updates often, so a change usually applies from the day it is published.
One kind of change waits: if it takes away something you have already paid for - shortening
Premium time you hold, or raising the price of what you already bought - we publish it before it
applies, the game shows you the date from which it applies, and until that date your current
terms stand. If you do not accept the new
terms, you can end the agreement by deleting your account - the screen that asks for your
acceptance offers this directly. If you end it for that reason within 30 days of the change, we
refund, directly or through the store, the part of the price you paid for Premium time and Gems
that you could not use. Otherwise purchases you already made keep the terms they were made
under.
13. App store terms
If you got Reckoner from the Apple App Store, you also agree that: this agreement is between
you and the provider only, not Apple, and the provider alone is responsible for the app and its
content; your licence covers use on Apple devices you own or control, under the App Store
usage rules; Apple has no obligation to maintain or support the app; if the app fails to meet
a warranty that applies to it, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund its price, and Apple has
no other warranty obligation - any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses
caused by a failure to conform to a warranty are the provider's sole responsibility; questions,
complaints and claims about the app go to the provider at the address and e-mail given in
section 1; the provider, not Apple, handles any claims about the app,
including product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection and privacy claims, and any
claim that the app infringes someone's intellectual property; you confirm that you are not in a
country under a United States government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and that
you are not on a United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties; you will
follow any third-party terms that apply when using the app; and Apple and its subsidiaries are
third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you. If you got Reckoner
from Google Play, the Google Play terms of service also apply to the download and to purchases.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Poland, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer
protection rules of the country where you live. We do not take part in out-of-court consumer
dispute resolution (ADR) unless the law requires it; consumers in Poland can ask a municipal or
district consumer ombudsman or the Trade Inspection for help, and consumers elsewhere in the EU
their national consumer bodies. For consumers living in Poland the Polish version of these terms
(reckonermobile.com/regulamin) is the basis of interpretation.
